..una domenica sera, la luce calda del tramonto, un sorriso a 32 denti e un look mix & match: questi i semplici ingredienti del post di oggi..

Mi piace liberarmi nel weekend dagli schemi della settimana, dove per lavoro devo necessariamente vestirmi in un determinato modo (anche se cerco sempre di mantenere la mia personalità!)…

Qui mi sento proprio IO e penso che le foto parlino da sole!

Sono comunque curiosa di leggere cosa ne pensate di questo abbinamento ;)

Today I have a new outfit to share with you: a blue and white combo played with stripes! 

I tried to highlight this basic look with a touch of red carrying my new mini Selma bag from Michael Kors.

Oggi finalmente propongo un nuovo outfit dal sapore davvero primaverile.

Ho abbinato infatti due colori spesso riconducibili a questa stagione e anche a quella estiva: il blu ed il bianco con il gioco delle righe.

Ho voluto spezzare questo binomio scontato con un tocco di rosso dato dalla mia Selma mini Michael Kors.

Furry

..So che oggi probabilmente diventerò molto "impopolare".. 

Ebbene si' sto indossando una pelliccia vera, inutile nasconderlo.. 

Anche mio nipote oggi mi ripudierà come zia probabilmente :/

L'ho presa ad un prezzo stracciatissimo ad una svendita aziendale e non ho saputo resistere pur non essendo assolutamente a favore di pellicce e quant'altro visto che ai giorni nostri per ripararci dal freddo abbiamo 1000 alternative.

Con questo non voglio fare l'ipocrita della situazione quindi non mi giustificherò oltre.

Questo e' il look che vi ho creato intorno domenica quando l'ho messa.

Essendo gia' di suo molto appariscente, ho optato per un lupetto in cashemere basico, un jeans skinny blu scuro semplice, scarpe e borsa color taupe..

If there is something that this blog gave to me, it's the friendship with a lot of people, some of them really unique and amazing.

It's the case of Sandra: I met her more than one year ago at the Firenze4Ever party by Luisa Via Roma.

Even if I was living in London and we didn't call each other often, our relationship grew with a strong sense of complicity and esteem.

I have been very happy to spend a bit of time together during the Fashion Week.

..Se c'e' una cosa bella che questo blog mi ha davvero regalato, è la conoscenza e l'amicizia di tante belle persone, alcune di queste davvero uniche e straordinarie. 

E' il caso di Sandra, conosciuta più di un anno fa in occasione di uno dei party Firenze4Ever di Luisa Via Roma e con la quale nonostante ci sentissimo non spessissimo, si e' creato da subito un rapporto di complicità, simpatia reciproca,  e stima.

Loving casual

..an everyday casual look with a destructured blazer, chino trousers and derbies. This is what I wore yesterday for a walk with my mum and Noah. 

An easy to wear outfit for everyone, for both evening (just playing with some "bling" clothes or accessories) and day.

..un look casual per tutti i giorni, con una giacca destrutturata, pantaloni modello chino e scarpe basse allacciate. Questo e' quello che portavo ieri pomeriggio per una passeggiata con mia mamma e Noah. 

Un outfit facile, indossabile da chiunque a mio avviso, sia per il giorno che per la sera volendo, giocando magari con qualche capo piu' "bling bling" o con degli accessori un po' diversi.

Hello my dears!

Here I am again ^_^

I hope you all had a nice weekend despite the weather which I know has been awful a bit everywhere. No sun in London but at least no rain as well, so let's say that it is fine!

This has been the last weekend with my mum: she went back to Florence yesterday with my sister also in visit here. 

I really have to thank her for the big support in these first weeks after Noah's birth. 

She has been very kind and helpful in everything: Thanks Mummy!!!

The outfit I show you today is what I wore last Friday for a walk and to pick up my sister.

As you surely know, one of this season's must haves are stripes: the t-shirt I am wearing here is from 5 Preview a Swedish brand that I discovered only lately and it has already become one of my favourites.

Eccomi tornata ^_^

Spero che tutte abbiate trascorso un buon fine settimana nonostante il tempo. So infatti che e' stato bruttino un po' dappertutto, idem a Londra: niente sole, ma almeno anche niente pioggia, quindi ci accontentiamo!

Questo e' stato l'ultimo weekend con la mia mamma: ieri infatti e' ripartita per Firenze insieme a mia sorella che era venuta anche lei in visita a conoscere Noah venerdì.

Devo davvero ringraziarla per l'immenso supporto in queste prime settimana dopo la nascita di Pulcino. E' stata amorevole e d'aiuto in tutto: grazie mammina!!

L'outfit che vi mostro oggi lo indossavo venerdi' per una giratina e per andare incontro a mia sorella appunto in arrivo.

Uno dei "must have" di questa stagione come sapete sono le righe: la t-shirt che porto e' di 5 Preview, un brand svedese che ho scoperto solo ultimamente e di cui mi sono gia' innamorata!

How are you today?

I imagine that most of you came back to your usual routine after a few days of relax and eating. I hope you all had a nice time with your families or friends!

I had the pleasure to have my cousin Elenia during these days: she absolutely wanted to see me with the tummy :) !

In this post I am going to share with you some pictures regarding my birthday's lunch at Yauatcha, my favourite place here in London together to the Lord Clyde pub just around the corner where we live.

Elenia, mia cugina, voleva assolutamente vedermi con il pancione :) così e' venuta a trovarmi e abbiamo trascorso questi giorni insieme.

Siamo stati da Yauatcha il mio posto preferito in assoluto qui a Londra insieme al Lord Clyde pub proprio dietro l'angolo di casa.

Grey & Red

Good morning and welcome back!

Another weekend is over and I hope you all nicely recharged your batteries to face the new week.

I start mine showing you the outfit I wore some days ago. 

You already had a small preview on my Instagram profile.  

This time I played with grey and red, breaking up with a pair of blue jeans.

The necklace you see, is a kind gift received from my friend Laura: thank you again sweetie!

I would like to thank also all of you to let this blog grow little by little. 

Sometimes I am asking myself if this make sense or not. If I should stop and concentrate on something different.. and above all what is the purpose of all of this.. There are a lot of things in the "world of blogging" that I really don't like... But then when I read all your comments and your lovely e-mails, I feel that stopping would be like cheating on you. 

So here I am... and I hope you will continue to enjoy.

Un altro weekend ormai alle spalle, ma spero che abbiate avuto modo di ricaricare le vostre batterie in maniera piacevole per poter affrontare quindi al meglio la vostra settimana.

Io comincio la mia mostrandovi l'outfit che indossavo qualche giorno fa e per il quale avete avuto gia' una piccola preview sul mio profilo Instagram 

Questa volta ho giocato con i toni del grigio e del rosso, spezzandoli con del blue jeans.

La collana che vedete e' un pensiero ricevuto dalla mia amica Laura: grazie ancora tesorino!

Vorrei poi ringraziare anche tutte/i voi che state permettendo a questo blog di crescere pian pianino.

A volte ammetto di fermarmi a pensare e mi chiedo se tutto questo abbia un senso e soprattutto se abbia un fine, visto che ci sono anche un sacco di cose che vedo intorno a me, nel "mondo blogging" , che non mi piacciono per niente... 

..Ma poi quando leggo tutti i vostri commenti o le vostre dolci e-mail, sento che se smettessi, sarebbe come tradirvi in qualche modo... 

E cosi', sono ancora qui e spero che anche voi continuerete ad esserci...

Talking about today's outfit, maybe some of you will not love this kiwi green I am wearing. It's not an easy colour to wear especially in winter. Anyway when I saw this chunky sweater during my last visit to Florence, I could not resist to buy it. 

I think it's nice to match with different tones of browns, but also with black or navy blue. In this case I combined it with a light grey boyfriend jeans...

Parlando del look di oggi, forse non tutti/e ameranno questo verde kiwi che indosso. Effettivamente non e' un colore facile da portare soprattutto in inverno. Comunque quando vidi questo maglioncione l'ultima volta che sono stata a Firenze, non ho potuto fare a meno di comprarlo. Penso infatti che si possa comunque abbinare con diverse tonalita' di marroni, con il nero o anche con un bel navy blu.

In questo caso invece l'ho sperimentato con un jeans boyfriend in grigio chiaro..

Sono curiosa quindi dei vostri commenti ;)

LALUA earrings

Today, more than my outfit I would like to talk with you about the earrings I am wearing. It's a really nice gift I received from Laura, a young Italian talented jewellery designer, who has recently founded her own brand called LALUA.

Her main objective is to offer something special and of course something only made in Italy, in terms of material and manufacturing.

She graduated at the Politecnico di Milano and then following her passion, she attended the courses at the Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana to learn the basics and secrets of this job.

Calm

If the other day I chose a very urban location to take my pictures,  yesterday Marco and I decided for something totally different and we went to Querceto, one of the most beautiful parts of Sesto Fiorentino where I come from.
Olive trees, cypresses, old stone wall houses... you can just breath calm here and even see the cupola of Santa Maria del Fiore, the dome in Florence. One day I would love to live here!
As you will see I was wearing again something really casual: black skinny jeans, white t-shirt with a denim shirt and my favourite derbies ;)
Se l'altro giorno ho scelto una location molto urban per scattare le mie foto, ieri io e Marco abbiamo deciso invece di salire verso Querceto, una delle parti più belle di Sesto Fiorentino, da dove vengo.
Alberi di olive, cipressi, case con muri in pietra... qui si respira solo calma e si può anche ammirare in lontananza la cupola di Santa Maria del Fiore, Duomo di Firenze... Un giorno mi piacerebbe tanto tornare e vivere qui!

Sailor

Maybe for some of you, it will seem a bit too late to show you this kind of sailor outfit..but even if it is September, my holidays have still to come. So that's why I am still in the mood =D

Forse per qualcuno di voi apparira' un po' tardi mostrarvi questo outfit da marinaretta.. ma anche se e' Settembre le mie vacanze devono ancora arrivare ed e' per questo che sono ancora nel mood =D

Denim shorts

Even if I am not as tanned as I usually am in this part of the season, I like wearing one of my favourite items in Summer: denim shorts. They can be matched with different styles and be extremely sporty,  or even sophisticated if you wear them with an evening top and high heels. In this case I wear my Abercrombie & Fitch shorts with a "Chanel look-a-like" blazer and an embroidered t-shirt from Zara and my Marsèll derbies. I quite like the result and you? 

Anche se non sono abbronzata come lo sono solitamente in questo periodo di stagione, non ho rinunciato ad indossare uno dei miei capi estivi preferiti: denim shorts. Li trovo molto trasversali perché possono essere abbinati in un sacco di modi ed essere estremamente sportivi come anche sofisticati se indossati ad esempio con tacchi alti e un top da sera. In questo caso io li ho abbinati con una giacchina simil Chanel e una t-shirt ricamata a fiorellini (tutto Zara) e le mie scarpe allacciate di Marsèll. Il risultato mi piace molto e a voi?
