Buondí fanciulle!!!

Umore un po' migliore quello di oggi, ma ieri è stata davvero dura riprendere la solita routine sin dalla mattina, con un tempo fuori dalla finestra quasi Novembrino :/

Grazie quindi per i vostri messaggi di incoraggiamento, ci siamo supportate a vicenda direi!

Oggi come nei prossimi giorni, vi propongo altre foto dalla mia vacanza sarda…

prima vera vacanza da genitori e che ha avuto i suoi sketches comici e "grotteschi" talvolta.. 

E' stato in qualche modo, un vero e proprio test per me e Robert e ci siamo accorti quanto non fossimo, (almeno io), preparati a certe scene di genitori/bimbi!!!

Insomma, io credo che per crescere un bimbo occorrano molte meno seghe mentali di quanto gli adulti se ne facciano, e alla base un mood molto più rilassato e "take it easy" in modo da trasmettere al nostro piccolino/a più serenità possibile.

Forse sono un po' arrogante come giovane mamma nel sostenere questo, o forse sono solo fortunata ad avere Noah così solare e tranquillo da non dare grossi problemi di "gestione", ma alcuni genitori rispetto a me e Robert li ho trovati davvero "vecchi"…. e non come età!!!!!!

Ma bando alle ciance, fatemi sapere che ne pensate di questo look di oggi..

I have to admit that I feel more embarassed to take pictures around Milan compared to London. If the people looked at me there, I didn't care... here it's different.. I don't know how to explain you this sensation.

In the background you can see La Scala.. I wish that Robert will bring me there sooner or later :)

Oggi ho finalmente un nuovo outfit da mostrarvi.. Devo ammettere che mi imbarazza molto di più scattare foto qui a Milano rispetto a Londra. Se lì la gente mi osservava, me ne fregavo.. qui, non so perchè, ma è diverso e non so spiegarvi la sensazione :P

Lo sfondo che intravedete è La Scala.. spero che Robert mi ci porti una sera prima o poi :)

Good morning dears!
Finally a new outfit to share with you!
Last week we did a "touch & go" to London for Noah's last immunization and to give back the keys of our apartment  - sigh sigh :,(
Robert decided to treat ourselves in a special way and booked a room at The Soho Hotel, one of the coolest hotels in the city.
We luckily got also an upgrade and we could enjoy an amazing suite!
I decided to take some pictures there and I hope you will like them ;)

La scorsa settimana abbiamo fatto "una toccata e fuga" nuovamente a Londra per fare l'ultimo vaccino al nostro piccolo Noah e per rendere definitivamente le chiavi del nostro appartamento  - sigh sigh :,(
Robert ha deciso di trattarci in maniera speciale e così ha prenotato una stanza al The Soho Hotel, uno degli alberghi più cool della città. La fortuna ha voluto che ci facessero anche un upgrade e così ci siamo goduti una signora suite ;)
Ho pensato così di scattare delle foto qui e spero vi piacciano!
C'è una nuova entry ai miei piedi ^_^

Random from our last weekend

..yep.. the last weekend in London has gone.. Honestly we have been so busy in organising and thinking to all the latest stuff to do that we didn't realise it until yesterday evening.. 

Thousands of thoughts on my mind but as always, a big smile on my face: a new START in front of us! 

Today I am not going to show you "a proper outfit post" but just a few pictures we took on Saturday for our last walk downtown in "modalita' turisti" =D

Onestamente non ce ne siamo nemmeno quasi resi conto fino a ieri sera visto ancora tutte le cose da organizzare e a cui pensare.. 

Migliaia sono i pensieri nella testa, ma come sempre tutto affrontato con un grande sorriso sulla faccia: dopo tutto davanti a noi c'e' un nuovo INIZIO! 

Oggi quindi non vi propongo un classico "outfit post", ma giusto qualche foto random scattata qua e là sabato durante l'ultima nostra passeggiata in centro in "modalita' turisti".

Unusual English summer

..if last year I literally suffered the lack of Summer here in London, this season I cannot not be more than happy! 

All July has been absolutely amazing and sunny with temperatures close to 36ºC.

This of course is not very common in this country but I am sure the English really enjoyed it lying in the parks and sitting outside pubs and bars.

And with this weather I could finally wear tops and open shoes and try to get rid off my pale skin.

Of course it would have been better somewhere at the beach but we have to find happiness in what we have ;) right?

Today I show you what I wore on Sunday: a crochet top and a palazzo printed trouser I already posted HERE + my wedges from Jeffrey Campbell.

What do you think about this look?

..Se l'anno scorso ho sofferto parecchio l'assoluta assenza dell'estate qui a Londra, quest'anno devo ammettere che un po' ci siamo rifatti contro ogni aspettativa! 

Ebbene si, tutto il mese di Luglio e' stato soleggiato con temperature che hanno sfiorato anche i 36ºC 

Ovviamente il tutto e' stato abbastanza inconsueto per questo paese ma penso che gli inglesi abbiano gradito visto che hanno preso letteralmente d'assalto parchi e locali con giardini e tavolini all'aperto!

E cosi io ho potuto "sfoggiare" tops e scarpe aperte e provare a spazzare via un po' di pallidume di dosso.

Certo il mare sarebbe stato un'altra cosa, ma bisogna sapersi accontentare, no?

Detto questo, vi faccio vedere il mio look di domenica che tra l'altro avevo indossato anche nei giorni scorsi a Milano durante la mia ricerca casa: top con lavorazione "all'uncinetto" e pantaloni ultra light stampati e con gamba a palazzo, proposti anche in un post QUI. Come scarpe delle zeppe comodissime di Jeffrey Campbell ;)

..un look casual per tutti i giorni, con una giacca destrutturata, pantaloni modello chino e scarpe basse allacciate. Questo e' quello che portavo ieri pomeriggio per una passeggiata con mia mamma e Noah. 

Un outfit facile, indossabile da chiunque a mio avviso, sia per il giorno che per la sera volendo, giocando magari con qualche capo piu' "bling bling" o con degli accessori un po' diversi.

Holiday feeling

Yep, it's still good weather in London and it's so weird for me to wear shorts and light stuff here. For example I wore this jumpsuit just one time in Santorini last September, and I can not believe to wear it here!

Questa jumpsuit ad esempio l'avevo indossata solo una volta a Santorini lo scorso settembre e non mi sembra vero poterla mettere anche qui.

..Another incredible sunny weekend has just gone and a big smile is still on my face.. 

It's finally time also here to leave jackets and dark clothes in the wardrobe and wear for example a total white outfit, one of the latest trends of this season..

..Un altro incredibile weekend soleggiato (tanto che mi sembrava di essere in vacanza) e' appena passato e sul mio viso ancora splende un bellissimo sorriso!

E' finalmente arrivato anche qui il tempo di lasciare nell'armadio giacche e abiti scuri, e indossare ad esempio un look tutto bianco cosi' come detta una delle ultime tendenze di questa stagione..

Blue skirt & denim shirt

Quick post with a new outfit I wore last Saturday for a walk along the river Thames..

I matched this asymmetric long skirt with a denim shirt knotted at the waist. For shoes I chose my new glitter flats by Anniel..

There is something in this outfit which doesn't convince me completely.. maybe because it's not totally "my style" or maybe because it is too blueish and flat??

Post veloce oggi con un nuovo outfit che ho indossato sabato per una passeggiata lungo il Tamigi..

Ho messo questa gonna assimmetrica insieme ad una camicia denim annodata in vita. 

Come scarpe ho scelto le comode Anniel glitter comprate a saldo qualche giorno fa.

C'e' qualcosa in questo look che pero' non mi convince completamente.. forse perche' non prettamente nelle mie corde o forse perche' ruota troppo intorno al blu ed e' un po' piatto..

Voi che ne pensate?

These pictures are from Sunday before Robert left to Milan.. yep, he already started the new job there and Noah and I are alone :( not for long: my mum is coming back with my two nephews Marco & Giorgo... Happy me ^_^!!!!

Io e Noah a casetta soli, ma ancora per poco: la mia mamma e i miei due nipoti Marco & Giorgio stanno arrivando.. Felice io ^_^!!!

Thoughts

As I anticipated in my previous posts, not only my friend Sarah is leaving London.. Soon Robert and I with our little boy will start a new adventure.. There are days that I can't wait for this new challenge, others that I feel a bit "lost" and with 1000 thoughts and worries. 

Start again a new life is certainly exciting but at the same time very stressful.

Anyway, the most important thing is that we are together and that until now we agreed in all our decisions with no regrets ;)

I will tell you more in the next weeks, I can also organise a new chat if you fancy it!

Meanwhile have a look at today's outfit where I feel a bit "cowgirl" wearing my new texan boots ;) I hope you will like it!

..Come vi ho in parte anticipato nei miei ultimi 2 post, non solo la mia amica Sarah sta lasciando Londra... Presto Robert ed io, con il nostro ometto, cominceremo una nuova avventura..

Ci sono giorni in cui non vedo l'ora di iniziare questa nuova sfida, altri in cui mi sento disorientata, con 1000 paranoie e preoccupazioni.

Ricominciare una nuova vita e' sicuramente eccitante ma allo stesso tempo molto stressante su diversi fronti.

Comunque la cosa piu' importante e' che siamo uniti e che fino ad oggi ogni decisione presa l'abbiamo condivisa senza alcun rimorso ;)

Vi raccontero' di piu' nelle prossime settimane e magari riorganizziamo una chat se vi va!

Nel frattempo vi lascio con l'outfit di oggi dove mi sento un po' "cowgirl" per via degli stivaletti texani che indosso ;) Spero vi piaccia il look!

Dr Martens 1461 black patent

..Leaving for a while my high heels in the wardrobe (not because I have to carry the pram, but because we are just going to the supermarket or having a walk around our area), I am growing my flat shoes collection and I decided to finally buy a new pair of Dr Martens.. They were in my wish list since a while, and the other day when I was so depressed about the weather, I placed my order online and I bought them: style 1461 in black patent ^_^

This is the outfit I created with them. I tried to wear something not too banal.. I hope you will like it ;)

..Abbandonati momentaneamente i tacchi, (non tanto perche' devo spingere la carrozzina ma perche' non stiamo facendo grosse uscite se non al supermercato o qualche giratina intorno casa) sto ampliando la mia collezione di scarpe basse e ho deciso finalmente di ricomprarmi delle Dr Martens.. Erano in wish list da un po' di tempo e l'altro giorno in preda alla mia depressione da meteo, ho fatto il mio ordinino online: modello 1461 black patent ^_^

Questo il look che vi ho poi costruito intorno.. ho cercato di realizzare un outfit non troppo scontato.. io spero vi piaccia ;)

Yellow like the sun

As you surely know, yellow will be one of the main colours in the upcoming spring summer season. Maybe it's not an easy colour to wear especially for those having a quite white skin, but I really like it as a colour and I have always worn it or had accessories.

The outfit I show you today has been shot last Sunday when a shy sun tried to come out through the clouds. 

The blazer is from Zara but from last Spring collection. I am sure they have something similar also now in their stores.

I matched it whit a black total look and leopard sneakers. 

I have already another combination with this jacket in my mind, more Springish! I hope to show it to you very soon.

Come sicuramente sapete, il giallo sara' uno dei colori di tendeza di questa primavera/estate. 

Forse non e' un colore facilissimo da portare soprattutto per chi ha la pelle molto chiara, ma a me piace tantissimo e l'ho sempre indossato o avuto accessori nel mio armadio.

Questo outfit lo abbiamo scattato domenica scorsa quando un timido sole provava ad uscire dalle nuvole. 

La giacca e' di Zara dello scorso anno, ma sono sicura che hanno qualcosa di simile anche adesso in negozio.

L'ho abbinato ad un look total black fatta eccezione per le sneakers leopardate.

Ho gia' in mente un secondo outfit sempre con questa giacca ma molto piu' primaverile ;) Spero di potervelo mostrare presto

Old Miu Miu

Good morning dears!

As I anticipated to you yesterday, I had planned a different post for today: my aim was to show you another scan of "Pulcino" but unfortunately the doctor could not leave me any picture because they were not clear enough.. 

He/she is already in the position for the birth and the face was hidden... 

Anyway everything seems to be OK, but honestly I am quite worried: apparently he/she is veeeery big (maybe I should change the nick name in "Little Chicken") and the forecast is that she/he will be more than 4kg at the end!!! 

Ok, I am 1.75cm tall and Robert 1.89 cm so it was already predictable that he/she won't be small... but more than 4 kg??? OMG *-* !!!!

Let's change argument.. I am sure you will be happy to see anyway another outfit with my big belly ^_^

These photos have been taken the previous weekend when we could enjoy some sun!

I wore my first pair of Miu Miu I bought 5 or 6 years ago. They are very high and without plateau so definitely not comfortable! I styled them with chino trousers, vintage cashmere knitwear and a maxi cardigan as a coat. Colours: brown, camel, cream and beige with just a touch of red in the foulard.

Come vi avevo un po' anticipato, avevo pensato ad un post un po' diverso per oggi: volevo infatti postare l'ultima ecografia di Pulcino, ma purtroppo ieri non me ne hanno lasciate di foto perché in ogni caso non si vedeva nulla di che. Infatti lei/lui e' gia' in posizione per la nascita e aveva il faccino nascosto :(

Comunque sembra che sia tutto ok... io in realta' non vi nego di essere un po' ansiosa e preoccupata: pare infatti che Pulcino/a sia mooooolto grande (forse dovrei cambiare il soprannome in pollastro/a) e prevedono che nascera' dai 4kg in su'!

Ok.. e' vero, io sono alta 1.75cm, Robert 1.89cm, quindi era praticamente impossibile fosse piccolino/a, ma da qui a nascere di oltre 4kg: aiutooooo *_* !!!!!

Cambiamo discorso va.. sono sicura che comunque vi fa piacere anche vedere un mio outfit con la panciona ormai sempre piu' in vista.

Queste foto sono state scattate il weekend prima, quando ci siamo goduti un pochettino di sole.

Indosso le mie prime Miu Miu comprate credo 5 o 6 anni fa! Sono altissime e senza plateau quindi scordatevi il fatto che sian comode. Le ho abbinate con un chino, un maglione vintage in cashemere e un maxi cardigan come cappotto. 

I colori mixati: marrone, cammello, panna e beige con un leggere tocco di rosso dato dal foulard.
