This is what I mostly hate of winter!

In these last days it has been impossible to shot any outfits and honestly I didn't fancy to go out at all.

Only on Sunday afternoon I forced myself to go outside and join Robert at his showroom with Noah.

Hunter boots would had been the right choice considering the weather, but I opted to wear my new Prada shoes I showed you yesterday. 

I couldn't wait anymore!!

Proprio quello che più odio dell'inverno!!

Impossibile quindi scattare foto outfit all'aperto e ovviamente anche zero voglia di mettere il naso fuori casa.. 

Solo domenica pomeriggio per fare compagnia a Robert che doveva lavorare, mi sono trascinata in show-room da lui con Noah (povero :P)

Non avendo intenzione di indossare gli Hunters, ho pensato di rinnovare le mie stringate Prada: il vistoso carro armato in gomma ho pensato facesse proprio al caso mio ;) e non potevo aspettare ancora per metterle!

Black & Purple

Hello dears and welcome back!

Today I share with you a new outfit based on black and purple a colour which I do not wear often.

I got this dress from Raoul's winter sample sale (do you remember my post about it HERE ?) 

I matched it with a simple black blazer and instead of wearing heels, maybe too boring here, I opted for my Dr.Martens.

Robert was not 100% convinced about the look, but I found it nice.

Oggi vi propongo un nuovo outfit basato sul nero e viola, un colore che non porto spessissimo ma che ho rivalutato con questo abitino preso alla sample sale della collezione invernale di RAOUL (vi ricordate il post QUI ?)

L'ho abbinato ad una giacca semplice di Zara e anziché optare per un tacco che forse avrebbe reso tutto il look più serioso - e forse pissero :P - ho optato per le Dr.Martens.

Robert ha storto un po' il naso, ma a me non dispiaceva affatto :P

House Hunting part I

House hunting part 1 ^_^ Wish me good luck!!

I will stay 3 days there looking for an apartment and then I will spend the weekend in Florence from where I have my flight back to London next Tuesday. 

I am really looking forward to it because it's now almost 7 months that I don't go there and it's the first time with my little Noah. I am sure that a lot of people can't wait to see us!!

I leave you with this outfit, very simple and comfortable. I apologize if I won't reply to your comments  and visit your blogs but I don't think I will have time for this.

Missione ricerca casa!! Auguratemi buona fortuna!!

Saro' qui per 3 giorni, mentre il weekend lo trascorrero' a Firenze dove ho poi il volo di rientro martedi' prossimo.

Non vedo davvero l'ora visto e considerato che non scendo da quasi 7 mesi e che oltretutto sara' la prima volta con il mio piccolo Noah. Sono sicura che ci sono un sacco di persone che mi ci aspettano impazientemente!

Vi lascio con un outfit molto semplice e comodo.

Mi scuso in anticipo se non rispondero' ai vostri commenti o non visitero' i vostri blog.. non credo che ne abro' il tempo francamente.

Thoughts

As I anticipated in my previous posts, not only my friend Sarah is leaving London.. Soon Robert and I with our little boy will start a new adventure.. There are days that I can't wait for this new challenge, others that I feel a bit "lost" and with 1000 thoughts and worries. 

Start again a new life is certainly exciting but at the same time very stressful.

Anyway, the most important thing is that we are together and that until now we agreed in all our decisions with no regrets ;)

I will tell you more in the next weeks, I can also organise a new chat if you fancy it!

Meanwhile have a look at today's outfit where I feel a bit "cowgirl" wearing my new texan boots ;) I hope you will like it!

..Come vi ho in parte anticipato nei miei ultimi 2 post, non solo la mia amica Sarah sta lasciando Londra... Presto Robert ed io, con il nostro ometto, cominceremo una nuova avventura..

Ci sono giorni in cui non vedo l'ora di iniziare questa nuova sfida, altri in cui mi sento disorientata, con 1000 paranoie e preoccupazioni.

Ricominciare una nuova vita e' sicuramente eccitante ma allo stesso tempo molto stressante su diversi fronti.

Comunque la cosa piu' importante e' che siamo uniti e che fino ad oggi ogni decisione presa l'abbiamo condivisa senza alcun rimorso ;)

Vi raccontero' di piu' nelle prossime settimane e magari riorganizziamo una chat se vi va!

Nel frattempo vi lascio con l'outfit di oggi dove mi sento un po' "cowgirl" per via degli stivaletti texani che indosso ;) Spero vi piaccia il look!

Varsity Jacket

Good morning my dears!

How was your weekend? I hope better than mine.. I spent 2 days mostly at home due to the incessant rain >:(

Anyway.. let's talk about something else: today I would like to share with you one of my latest obsessions: the Varsity Jacket!

It's been a while now that I am looking for the right one to buy.. 

On Friday I saw many of them at Top Shop with a very good price 45,00£ (Ok they are just in fleece fabric and not with leather sleeves) and these two colours have caught my eyes but I could not decide for which one to go for: the bright blue or the navy one?

What do you suggest me?

Com'e' andato il vostro weekend? Spero meglio del mio... 

Ho infatti trascorso 2 giorni quasi interamente in casa a causa dell'incessante pioggia >:(

Comunque... parliamo d'altro va.. Oggi vorrei condividere con voi una delle mie ultime ossessioni: la Vasity Jacket, nient'altro che il classico bomberino uniforme delle squadre di Baseball Americane.

E' un po' infatti che cerco quella che possa fare al caso mio e proprio venerdi' ho visto un bell'assortimento da Top Shop (tra l'altro all'ottimo prezzo di 45,00£ perche' solo in felpa e non con le maniche in pelle) dove 2 colori in particolare hanno colpito i miei occhi, ma non sono riuscita a scegliere.. 

Quale mi consigliate tra il blu chiaro e quella navy?

Black & Burgundy

Hello guys!

Another week ran really fast and I am travelling again to Florence ^_^ 

This time not only to visit my family (actually I am really happy to see them again because 2 days only at Christmas were not enough) but also because I've been unexpectedly invited to the "Firenze 4Ever 6th edition" dinner organized by Luisa Via Roma, next Sunday 6th.

I was a bit undecided to join the event, because the invitation is just for one person and last June I attended it with my lovely friend Laura. 

Anyway Robert pushed me to go because at the end, it would be for sure a nice opportunity to meet some bloggers.

I will tell you soon everything next week, so stay tuned!

Talking about today's outfit, well, I show you a very easy combination: Black & Burgundy, two must have colours of this current season!

Salve ragazzi/e!

Un'altra settimana e' letteralmente volata e io sono di nuovo in partenza per Firenze ^_^

Questa volta non solo per andare a trovare la mia famiglia (anche se ne sono stra felice perche' 2 giorni soli a Natale non mi erano affatto bastati), ma anche perche' ho inaspettatamente ricevuto l'invito per la cena di "Firenze4Ever 6th edition" organizzata da Luisa Via Roma.

Fino all'ultimo ero indecisa se andarvi o meno, anche perche' l'invito e' strettamente personale e a Giugno ero invece con Laura .

Robert pero' ammetto che ha insistito molto e mi ha convinta: alla fine sara' un'ottima occasione per conoscere magari qualcuna di voi e qualche altra blogger! Vi raccontero' tutto quanto prima la prossima settimana, quindi restate sintonizzate ;)

Passando invece all'outfit di oggi, beh, vi propongo un mix piuttosto easy: nero e borgogna, due colori must di questo autunno inverno.

A Family day

Quite intense day yesterday... My family and I joined our relatives close to Siena to celebrate my aunt's 50th Wedding Anniversary.. It has been a really long day, but very emotional too.. 50 years married.. Can you believe it? I think it's becoming a real rare thing in nowadays.. I calculated that I would be 79 and Robert 82 if we will cross this line.. We'll see :D

This is the outfit I wore: a simple "tubino dress" in a dove colour, my mice ballerinas and a blazer.. The pictures have been taken again by Marco and maybe you will ask me: where was Robert? He could not fly here yesterday.. he is at home blocked with his back :/
Giornata intensa quella di ieri.. insieme alla mia famiglia abbiamo raggiunto i nostri parenti vicino Siena per festeggiare i 50 anni di matromonio dei miei zii.. E' stata appunto una giornata piuttosto lunga ma allo stesso tempo emozionante.. 50 anni di cammino insieme.. Immaginate? Penso che oggi giorno stia diventando una cosa assai rara...
Ho calcolato che io se dovessi arrivarci avrei 79 anni e Robert 82... vediamo :D
Indossavo per l'occasione un semplice tubino color tortora, le mie ballerine topino e una giacchina.. Le foto sono state scattate nuovamente da mio nipote Marco e magari vi chiederete: "ma che fine ha fatto Robert?" Ebbene, ieri non è potuto volare qui perchè bloccato a casa con la schiena :/

Enjoying the summer holidays?

Just fyi, here we had yesterday evening 15ºC

On a positive note, I can already start my fall winter shopping, and actually wear it, too ^_^. I could also wear for the first time this lovely cardigan, made of hemp, that my nephew Marco has found in a small store in Camden Town and bought for me as a present before leaving.

Qui vi dico solo che ieri sera c'erano di nuovo 15ºC

L'unica cosa positiva di questo tempo e' che posso gia' fare shopping sulle collezioni invernali ^_^ . Ho potuto inoltre rinnovare questo graziosissimo cardigan in canapa regalatomi dal mio nipotino Marco prima di ripartire e che ha scovato in un negozietto in Camden Town.

Super flare jeans & wedges

I have to admit it... I have tons of jeans in my closet... the thing is that I worked for a long time for a denim company and I had the chance to collect a lot of jeans during those years: skinnies, boyfriends, boot cuts and of course even flare! So when on Wednesday I found these wedges from TopShop for only 50,00 £ I immediately thought how to combine them.. and here we are ^_^ 

I know that most of my Italian readers left for their holidays but I hope they will continue to read my posts from the beach: girls enjoy your holidays but stay tuned :)) !!!

Lo ammetto... ho tonnellate di jeans nel mio armadio.. il fatto e' che ho lavorato per un sacco di tempo in un'azienda di denim e nel corso degli anni ne ho collezionati tanti: skinny, boy-friend, bootcuts e anche a zampa ovviamente... Quando allora mercoledì ho visto queste zeppe da Top Shop in saldo per soli 50,00£ ho immediatamente pensato a come le avrei abbinate e.. eccoci qui ^_^ 

So che la maggior parte delle mie lettrice italiane sono partite per le vacanze, ma spero che continuino a leggere i miei post dalla spiaggia: ragazze divertitevi ma restate sintonizzate su questi schermi :) !!!
