..I am pretty sure that those who followed my almost 2 years of life in London, remember my passion and my great fun for taking street style pictures, shooting sometimes just details or emphasising some "unconventional" looks.

This is for sure one of the things I am missing the most.

And because I didn't have any posts ready for today due to my weekend in bed, I checked my photos gallery looking for some pictures I didn't publish yet..

And voilà: I've been lucky, I have still some of them ^_^

So here below you will find some of my shoots from London, the London through my lens... with a bit of nostalgia, enjoy!

..Sono sicura che chi ha seguito i miei quasi 2 anni a Londra, sa bene quanto mi sia divertita a scattare foto di street style, a cogliere particolari di outfits e look bizzarri o alquanto improbabili.. 

Questa è senz'atro una delle cose che più mi manca di questa città.. e così non avendo post pronti per oggi per via del mio weekend a letto, ho rispulciato il mio ricco archivio per trovare ancora qualcosa che non avessi pubblicato. 

E sono stata fortunata: qualcosa me lo ero riservato ^_^ 

Vi lascio quindi con qualche frammento della mia Londra, quella vista attraverso la mia lente..

..ci siamo, sono ufficialmente partite le Settimane della Moda: 

NY la città che ne apre le danze, Parigi quella che ne chiuderà invece il sipario dopo Londra e Milano.

Breve aggiornamento poi sulla mia gravidanza: sono adesso entrata nella 32esima settimana e oggi nel tardo pomeriggio avro' la mia ultima ecografia.. Rimanete quindi connesse per qualche ulteriore news domani sul mio blog ^_^!

#LFW - My #Streetstyle pics Part 1

Good morning my dears!

As I promised, today I am going to share with you a first part of street style pictures I personally took during the London Fashion Week at the Somerset House.

Of course I start this post with my myth Scott Schuman, one of the most famous photographers in the world (thanks Laura for taking the pics). 

You can see all his amazing pictures on his blog The Sartorialist .

It's now more than 6 years that I am following him and it has been a great pleasure to meet him again.

Come promesso, oggi per voi una prima carrellata di foto di street style personalmente scattate a Somerset House durante la Fashion Week qui a Londra.
Non potevo non cominciare un post del genere, senza mettere quelle di me insieme a Scott Schuman, uno dei fotografi piu' famosi al mondo (grazie Laura per aver scattato x me).
Per chi non lo conoscesse :/ potete vedere le sue foto sul suo blog The Sartorialist .
Sono ormai piu' di 6 anni che lo seguo ed e' stato quindi un piacere immenso rincontrarlo (lo avevo gia' visto a Settembre).
Godetevi le mie foto e fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate!

Good morning my lovely readers!

I hope your week started as well as mine. 

I have to say that these last days of LFW have been quite intense for me and I have to thank "Pulcino" (my baby) to be already so patient with her Fashion mummy ^_^

So, as you know if you follow my updates on my socials, yesterday I attended the event organised by Calvin Klein at their Jeans store on Regent Street (170 Regent Street, W1B 5BQ London). 

Big guest of the evening was Rita Ora, one of the most popular singers in the UK right now, who performed three amazing songs!

A lot of fashion people and VIPs enjoyed the event and a glass of Champagne.
Reyes came with me and we tried to do our best with our iPhones because we could not use our cameras :/

Spero che la vostra settimana sia iniziata al meglio cosi come la mia.
Devo dire che questi giorni di Fashion Week sono stati piuttosto intensi e devo ringraziare Pulcino (my baby) per essere gia' paziente con la sua Fashion mummy ^_^  
Se quindi mi seguite sui vari socials, sapete che ieri ho partecipato all'evento organizzato da Calvin Klein nel loro negozio Jeans su Regent Street. 
Ospite d'onore della serata era Rita Ora, una delle cantanti al momento piu' gettonate in UK, che ci ha emozionati con una performance live cantando tre canzoni.
Un sacco di gente fashion e VIP locali (che ahime' non ho saputo riconoscere) hanno partecipato alla serata sorseggiando il loro bicchiere di Champagne.
Ho portato con me Reyes e abbiamo cercato di fare del nostro meglio a scattare le foto con l'iphone anziche' con le nostre Reflex che non erano "gradite"..
Spero quindi che attraverso questi scatti e il video un po' casereccio =D possiate comunque respirare un po' dell'atmosfera di ieri sera!

#ThuThu #AW13 Presentation

If you follow me on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, you already know that on Saturday I had the pleasure to attend the Thu Thu AW13 presentation at St. Marten's Hotel.

In case you never heard about this brand, the designer is Thuy Duong Nguyen, a Vietnamese woman who grew up in Germany.

Her new AW'13 collection is entitled "The Unnatural Nature" and takes inspiration from Richard Mosse's infrared photography which explores the various prospectives of nature by alternating lenses.

The main colours are orange, lilac, pink and burgundy combined with black and shades of grey.

Textures and fabrics relate to Mosse's dreamlike landscape pictures, using digital tie-dyed silk, and screen-printed corduroy. A recurring key element of the brand that you will find also throughout this collection is the use of traditional Vietnamese fabrics from Sapa, that are used for trims and patchwork applications.     

I have to say that I really enjoyed the presentation and the intimate atmosphere. One of my favourite pieces are the Airside Leather bomber jacket of the 1st look (starting from the right) and the Concrete Cashwool Coat of the 6th look.

Se mi seguite sui vari social network come Instagram, Facebook o Twitter, sapete gia' che sabato ho avuto il piacere di assistere alla presentazione Autunno/Inverno 2013 di Thu Thu che si teneva al St. Martens Hotel.

In caso non abbiate mai sentito parlare di questo brand, si tratta di una designer vietnamita Thuy Duong Nguyen, cresciuta in Germania e che adesso vive a Londra.

La sua nuova collezione e' intitolata "The Unnatural Nature", la innaturale natura, e prende ispirazione dai paesaggi surreali delle foto di Richard Mosse.

I colori principali sono quindi l'arancio, il rosa, il lilla, il rosso con il borgogna, mixati poi ai neri e alle varie tonalita' di grigio.

L'elemento chiave che caratterizza il brand e quindi anche questa collezione,  e' ovviamente l'uso di tessuti vietnamiti provenienti dal Sapa. 

Sete e velluti si mischiano tra loro creando queste fantasie con effetto patchwork.

Devo dire che sono rimasta molto affascinata da questa presentazione e dall'atmosfera intima.

I miei pezzi preferiti sono stati senz'altro il bomber in pelle del primo look partendo da destra e quello in lana del sesto.

In a few days, and exactly on Friday, Somerset House will open again its doors to the London Fashion Week. 

If the weather will be quite good and I will feel well, I will have fun taking a lot of street style pictures!

Meanwhile, I want to share with you some of them I took during the last edition in September but never published here ;)

Tra pochissimi giorni, ed esattamente questo venerdi', Somerset House aprira' di nuovo le sue porte alla London Fashion week.
Se il tempo me lo consentira' e se ovviamente staro' anche bene, mi divertirò nuovamente a fare scatti di street style!
Nel frattempo, vi voglio fare vedere alcune foto relative all'ultima edizione di settembre e che ancora non avevo condiviso con voi!
