All I need is colour

..While I am waiting for the sun in London (apparently it's finally coming back next week ^_^ ), it's me who puts some colours in these grey days.

This is the outfit I wore on Thursday. I took these pictures with Marco after work, late in the afternoon taking a walk in the park close to our place, before dinner.

Too many colours? Believe me this is what I need right now!!

Questo che vedete qui e' l'outfit che indossavo giovedi'. Le foto le ho fatte con Marco uscita da lavoro facendo una passeggiata prima di cena nel parco vicino casa. Un po' troppi colori? Credetemi e' quello di cui ho disperatamente bisogno adesso!!

TGIF: thanks God is Friday and the weekend is here ^_^ again!
The pictures you will see below have been taken by Marco (my nephew) on Wednesday late in the afternoon after work and before the rain :P I wanted to show him the "promenade" along the canal close to our place. Those who follow me, know already that it is one of my favourite spots here in London. I don't wear short skirts very often but I really love the floral one you see here. Hope you will like it too...

Volevo infatti mostrargli la passeggiate lungo il canale vicino casa nostra. Chi mi segue sa già' che e' diventato uno dei miei posti preferiti qui a Londra.

Good morning dears!!

Half week is almost gone... Lately I have the feeling that the time is running faster than usual, I don't know why.. Sometimes I have the perception to not live enough every single day or instant: too many things to do everyday, too many distractions, no time for ourselves.. don't know how to explain you that.. maybe you have the same feeling, maybe not..

Anyway..let's talk about the outfit I show you today: it is the one I wore last Sunday for a walk downtown and then a dinner with a friend. You have already seen the Dixie lace blazer in this post . This time I combined it with a long black and cream camisole with holes, a coated denim and my new entry Marsèll derbies in off white. I simply love them!

Meta' settimana quasi andata.. Ultimamente ho come la sensazione che il tempo scappi via piu' veloce del solito.. non so perché.. A volte ho come l'impressione di non vivere abbastanza ogni singolo giorno e istante: sempre troppe cose da fare, sempre troppe distrazioni, zero tempo per se stessi veramente... Non so se provate o capite quello che intendo..

Comunque.. passiamo all'outfit di oggi che indossavo domenica quando abbiamo fatto un giro in centro e poi cenato con un'amica. La giacca in pizzo di Dixie l'avete già vista in questo post. Stavolta l'ho abbinata ad un top lungo nero e crema con buchi (fatti apposta), denim spalmato e le mie nuove Marsèll allacciate: le adoro!!

When I think about the outfit to wear in front of my wardrobe, usually I start from the shoes and then I combine the rest, of course depending on the mood, the occasion or.. the weather... For the look I show you today instead, I started from the earrings that I received from Bugie last week together with the neon skulls you have seen HERE . We literally had 1/2 an hour of sun so I went for a short H&M dress from a couple of years ago and ballerinas...

Molto spesso quando penso a cosa mettermi davanti all'armadio, parto dalla scelta delle scarpe per poi trovargli gli abbinamenti. Tutto a seconda del mood, dell'occasione o tanto per cambiare del meteo... Per l'outfit che vi mostro oggi invece sono partita dall'alto: dagli orecchini di Bugie che avevo ricevuto settimana scorsa insieme a quelli a teschietto neon che avete visto QUI .

Dato che per 1/2 ora e' uscito il sole ho azzardato un abitino corto di H&M di un paio di stagioni fa e delle ballerine.

Hope you all had a nice weekend like mine (weather apart..)

Today I have for you a long post where you can find not only the outfit I wore yesterday, but also some tips in case you will spend a weekend in London... ^_^

Let's talk first about my look: it's again a bit military inspired because of the blazer and the olive green tank top I wore underneath. I matched them with low crotch pants from Denham and beige flat sandals with studs (similar Valentino) from Zara's new Pre-Fall collection. I really love the whole combination and I hope you will as well..

Spero che abbiate trascorso un piacevole weekend cosi' come l'ho trascorso io (apparte il tempo..).

Oggi ho per voi un post lunghissimo dove non troverete solo l'outft che indossavo ieri, ma anche alcuni tips in caso abbiate in programma un weekend a Londra.. ^_^

Vediamo insieme prima il mio look: e' di nuovo di ispirazione military, un po' per la giacca, un po' per il top verde oliva che avevo sotto. Il tutto abbinato con dei pantaloni con cavallo basso e un infradito beige con borchiette (simil Valentino) di Zara della nuova collezione Pre Fall.

Wellingtons my best friends

..I am sure that most of you sometimes have bought something not because you needed it, but just because you followed your shopping impulse or a trend or just because you were bored... For sure this is the case of my Hunters purchase a couple of years ago. I definitely didn't need them (I was living in Lugano at that time) but because they were "en vogue" and it was one of these days where you want to come back home with a shopping bag in your hands, I decided to buy them... and this turned out to be the greatest idea ever.. Here they have became my best friends :/

Sono sicura che la maggior parte di voi, ogni tanto ha comprato qualcosa non perché ne avesse realmente bisogno, ma solo per un vostro impulso allo shopping, oppure per seguire un trend o semplicemente per combattere un po' di noia.. Di sicuro questo e' il caso dei miei Hunters comprati un paio di anni fa.. Non ne avevo infatti bisogno (vivevo a Lugano a quel tempo) ma siccome erano piuttosto in voga ed era uno di quei giorni in cui volevo tornare a casa con la mia busta di acquisti in mano, li presi. Mai avuta idea piu' saggia... qui sono diventati i miei migliori amici :/
