The summer is almost gone and the fact that I could not enjoy it at all due to the UK's weather make me even more sad.. I have to wait another entire year until it will come back... OMG!!!!

Anyway, there is a positive thing about the autumn arrival: shopping!

And on Wednesday I had the pleasure to attend a private event at the my-wardobe.com headquarter where its buyers welcomed me and some other fashion bloggers in order to present the trends and the products they have now on their website. It has been really interesting to touch with our own hands fabrics and layerings, see better details and embellishments of these fantastic items from a lot of amazing designers.

Phillip Lim, MSGM, Burberry Brit, Helmut Lang, Diane Von Furstenberg, Marc by Marc Jacons, Just Cavalli, Vivienne Westwood Red Label, Markus Lupfer are only some among the long list of designers presented here. 

Many are the trends for the upcoming season: leather is the must have fabric with biker jackets and super stretch leggings. Some more important elements  are Pop Art graphics, for example on sweaters from Phillip Lim and Markus Lupfer, and futuristic fits (Helmut, Camilla Skovgaard and again Phillip Lim to name a few). 

Another big focus is on new shapes: peplums, cinched in waists, bell shaped skirts, rounded sleeves, egg shape dresses... and finally opulence: glitter, sequins, shining fabrics are all key this season.

L'estate e' ormai quasi finita e il fatto che quest'anno non me la sia goduta affatto per colpa del tempo qui in UK, la cosa mi rende ancora piu' triste... Devo aspettare un anno intero prima che arrivi la prossima... Oh My God!!

Comunque c'e' anche una cosa positiva dopotutto con l'arrivo dell'autunno: lo shopping!!

E infatti mercoledi ho avuto il piacere di partecipare all'evento privato presso gli uffici e showroom di my-wardobe.com dove i loro buyers hanno accolto me ed altre fashion bloggers per raccontarci i trends e i must have di questa stagione e presentarci i capi attualmente in vendita sul loro sito. E' stato davvero interessante vedere e toccare con mano propria tessuti, materiali, capi impreziositi da pietre e paillettes di stilisti famosi ed emergenti.

Molti sono i trend per questa stagione, ma di sicuro la pelle ' un vero e proprio must have con i suoi biker jackets e attillatissimi leggings. Un'altro elemento importante sono le stampe Pop art di Markus Lupfer e Phillip Lim per esempio e le vestibilita' futuristiche sempre di quest'ultimo o Helmut e Camilla Skovgaard.

Grande attenzione anche verso nuove forme: peplum, maniche arrotondate, abiti a "uovo".. per finire poi con il barocco, il sontuoso, l'opulenza: tutto accentuato da glitter, paillettes e tessuti shining, altri key elements di questo autunno/inverno.
