Good morning girls!

It's Friday, yeahhhh!!!

Final rush and then a bit of relax to enjoy my little boy and my mum here in Milan for a few days.

Robert is still in Paris working hard.. I hope he will come back with a good result on sales and new accounts!

As I anticipated you at the beginning of this week, last Saturday I went in piazza Sempione for the Cavalli fashion show to take some street style pictures. Because I was with Noah I could not "work" as I wanted and honestly I saw too many clowns more than "fashion people".. so here for you, just a few shoots of  those who took my attention.

Ultimo sforzo e poi un po' di relax per godermi Noah e la mamma in visita qui a Milano per qualche giorno.

Robert invece che se la godrà in quel di Parigi..

Poverino.. in realtà si sta facendo un bel mazzo.. speriamo che torni con un buon risultato di vendita e nuovi clienti.

Come vi avevo anticipato all'inizio della settimana, sabato scorso ho provato ad appostarmi fuori dalla sfilata di Cavalli in piazza Sempione per fare un po' di foto di street style.. purtroppo essendo con Noah non mi sonno potuta sbizzarrire gran che, e poi detto fra noi, ho visto tanti clown..

Quindi vi propongo giusto un assaggio con qualche scatto di chi ha catturato la mia attenzione ;)

How was your weekend? 

As you surely know this was the weekend dedicated to Fashion here in Milan.. 

I would have loved to attend some catwalks and presentations, but unfortunately Robert was working and I had to take care of Noah. 

On Saturday I tried to bring him with me for some street style pictures and to the Super fair.. but honestly it has been a sort of nightmare because even if he was quite calm and patient I couldn't enjoy these events as I wanted.. 

Anyway, family comes first of course, especially if it's about my little boy!

And here we go, a new week ahead, not as busy as the previous one but quite intense as well. Robert is leaving for Paris and my mum will come for some days to help me and enjoy of course her grandson!!

Passato un buon weekend?

Come sicuramente sapete questo e' stato il fine settimana dedicato alla moda qui a Milano e avrei voluto tanto partecipare a qualche sfilata/evento o presentazione, ma purtroppo Robert lavorava e quindi toccava a me occuparmi interamente di Noah.

A dire il vero sabato ho provato a portarmelo dietro perché volevo fare qualche foto di street style e andare al Super.. ma è stato un piccolo incubo: nonostante lui sia stato più che buono, non è la stessa cosa di quando sei sola e  non sono riuscita a fare quello che volevo :(

In ogni caso, la famiglia prima di tutto, ancora di più se si tratta del mio pulcino.

E via si parte: una nuova settimana alle porte: meno impegnativa forse della precedente, ma sicuramente ancora bella intensa. Robert infatti è in prossimità di partire per la Paris fashion week e salirà quindi da Firenze mia mamma per darmi una mano con Noah e soprattutto per goderselo un po'.

Ammetto però che è stato bello poter fare base a Firenze e godermi anche qualche "extra lavoro" come la festa di Luisa Via Roma, la presentazione di un nuovo brand di Denim e la conoscenza di una di voi: Veronica :)))

I was in Florence to visit my family and even if the weather hasn't been very nice, I was happy to spend some time together and now that we moved to Milan it will be much easier to see each other more often.

Random from our last weekend

..yep.. the last weekend in London has gone.. Honestly we have been so busy in organising and thinking to all the latest stuff to do that we didn't realise it until yesterday evening.. 

Thousands of thoughts on my mind but as always, a big smile on my face: a new START in front of us! 

Today I am not going to show you "a proper outfit post" but just a few pictures we took on Saturday for our last walk downtown in "modalita' turisti" =D

..ebbene si.. l'ultimo nostro weekend a Londra e' andato..

Onestamente non ce ne siamo nemmeno quasi resi conto fino a ieri sera visto ancora tutte le cose da organizzare e a cui pensare.. 

Migliaia sono i pensieri nella testa, ma come sempre tutto affrontato con un grande sorriso sulla faccia: dopo tutto davanti a noi c'e' un nuovo INIZIO! 

Oggi quindi non vi propongo un classico "outfit post", ma giusto qualche foto random scattata qua e là sabato durante l'ultima nostra passeggiata in centro in "modalita' turisti".

A quanto pare Pulcino si trova bene dove sta e non ha nessuna voglia di uscire (con quello che c'e' qua fuori ci credo!!).

When the style has no age

I think it is really the case to say that "style has no age" and I honestly think that nobody can teach to have it even if you can afford to wear luxury and branded clothes or the latest trends. You are born with it or not!

Robert found by chance this street style blog and as soon as he showed it to me, I got fascinated. 

So I thought to talk to you as well of this cool gentleman, Ali, 83 years old, living in Berlin and dressing with such a nice taste and style at his age.

The girl who discovered him is Zoe Spawton, an Australian photographer working as waitress in a Cafe' where he usually walks by every morning. 

She was really impressed by his style and once she asked him (with some language difficulties: she doesn't speak proper German and he speaks just a little bit of English) the permission to take a picture. Since then, they started a kind of friendship and one day she opened the blog called What Ali Wore .

..Qui e' proprio il caso di dire che "lo stile non ha eta'" e secondo il mio modesto parere, o ce l'hai dentro o non te lo insegna nessuno anche se vesti capi firmatissimi o all'ultimo grido!

Per caso Robert e' incappato in questo Street style blog e quando me lo ha mostrato ne sono rimasta letteralmente affascinata. 

Cosi' ho pensato di far conoscere anche a voi questo personaggio di 83 anni, che sfoggia dei look niente male a mio avviso proprio per la sua eta'.

Il suo nome e' Ali, vive a Berlino ed il blog si chiama What Ali Wore .

La ragazza che lo ha "scovato" e' Zoe Spawton, fotografa australiana e cameriera in un cafe' davanti al quale Ali ogni mattina passa intorno alle 9.00.

I due, nonostante le difficolta' nel comunicare (lei parla poco tedesco e lui poco inglese) hanno pian piano legato e fatto amicizia, da qui la richiesta di Zoe di scattare foto e poi la nascita di questo blog.

My Baby Shower

Good morning my lovely readers and welcome back.

I hope you all had a great weekend!

Here in London, unbelievable, we had 2 quite sunny days (but the temperatures still around 7ºC).

On Saturday Robert and I organised a small "Baby Shower" to celebrate the arrival of our baby - only two weeks ahead!!! 

It's an American more than an English tradition.. in Italy we usually celebrate after the birth.. Anyway it was a good excuse to invite at our place some of our friends and eat cakes, brownies, crostini etc etc.

A big THANK YOU goes to Laura who brought two baby shower balloons and a funny table cloth to create the right atmosphere ^_^ and than of course to Roberto, Mauro and Lucia for coming! Unluckily someone could not come at the end but it has been a lovely evening anyway!

Qui a Londra, incredibile ma vero, abbiamo avuto 2 giorni di quasi sole (temperature sempre intorno ai 7ºC ma ci accontentiamo!)

Sabato abbiamo organizzato a casa un piccolo "Baby Shower" per festeggiare l'arrivo di Pulcino - ah mancano oramai 2 settimane soltanto (magari pure prima!!!!)

E' una tradizione per lo piu' Americana, in Italia ovviamente si festeggia dopo, ma era comunque una scusa per della buona compagnia e per mangiare dolci, brownies, crostini e quant'altro!

Un grossissimo GRAZIE va a Laura per avermi portato 2 palloncini e tovaglia per creare maggiormente l'atmosfera ^_^ e ovviamente anche a Roberto, Mauro e Lucia per essere venuti. Purtroppo un po' di assenti dell'ultimo minuto ma e' stata davvero una bella serata!
