Not really me :P

..ormai lo sapete che mi piace sperimentare tutto e spesso posso dire (anche perché me lo confermate voi stesse) che riesco ad "interpretare" abbastanza bene anche stili non prevalentemente nelle mie corde.. 

Nell'outfit che vi mostro oggi invece, credo che si percepisca fin troppo che non mi si addice proprio :P

My "new" biker boots

Maybe you might remember them or not, but these biker boots I show you today, were grey a while ago (you can see them HERE and HERE for example).

Unfortunately they quite suffered London's weather, so I decided to "re-style" them and I asked to cobbler to colour them in black!

I really love the result and it's like having a new pair of shoes in my closet :P

..forse ve li ricorderete, o forse no, ma i biker boots che indosso in questo look, erano in realtà grigi (QUI e QUI due post dove ve li avevo mostrati).. 

A Londra ahimè, avevano preso tanta di quell'acqua che purtroppo si erano sciupati e rimasti macchiati. Così ho pensato di "ringiovanirli" e dargli di nuovo grinta facendoli colorare dal calzolaio in nero… Il risultato non mi dispiace affatto e anzi, è come avere un paio di stivali nuovo ai piedi :P

Unusual English summer

..if last year I literally suffered the lack of Summer here in London, this season I cannot not be more than happy! 

All July has been absolutely amazing and sunny with temperatures close to 36ºC.

This of course is not very common in this country but I am sure the English really enjoyed it lying in the parks and sitting outside pubs and bars.

And with this weather I could finally wear tops and open shoes and try to get rid off my pale skin.

Of course it would have been better somewhere at the beach but we have to find happiness in what we have ;) right?

Today I show you what I wore on Sunday: a crochet top and a palazzo printed trouser I already posted HERE + my wedges from Jeffrey Campbell.

What do you think about this look?

..Se l'anno scorso ho sofferto parecchio l'assoluta assenza dell'estate qui a Londra, quest'anno devo ammettere che un po' ci siamo rifatti contro ogni aspettativa! 

Ebbene si, tutto il mese di Luglio e' stato soleggiato con temperature che hanno sfiorato anche i 36ºC 

Ovviamente il tutto e' stato abbastanza inconsueto per questo paese ma penso che gli inglesi abbiano gradito visto che hanno preso letteralmente d'assalto parchi e locali con giardini e tavolini all'aperto!

E cosi io ho potuto "sfoggiare" tops e scarpe aperte e provare a spazzare via un po' di pallidume di dosso.

Certo il mare sarebbe stato un'altra cosa, ma bisogna sapersi accontentare, no?

Detto questo, vi faccio vedere il mio look di domenica che tra l'altro avevo indossato anche nei giorni scorsi a Milano durante la mia ricerca casa: top con lavorazione "all'uncinetto" e pantaloni ultra light stampati e con gamba a palazzo, proposti anche in un post QUI. Come scarpe delle zeppe comodissime di Jeffrey Campbell ;)

A challenge won

..I can proudly say that I arrived almost at the end of this pregnancy with 10kg more but without buying any pre-maman clothes! 

It was a kind of challenge for me (maybe a bit stupid for some of you) and I won =D !!! 

You have already seen this Mango dress in this POST at the beginning of November but styled in a different way. I wore it again on Saturday for my baby shower (have you seen yesterday's pics?).

 These are the photos taken before the party, going out for some grocery.

...Posso con orgoglio dire di essere arrivata quasi alla fine di questa gravidanza, con 10 kg in piu' ma senza acquistare un solo capo pre-maman!

Era una sorta di sfida per me (magari un po' stupida per alcune di voi) ma ho vinto =D !

Avete gia' visto questo abitino di Mango in questo POST di inizio Novembre ma abbinato in maniera un po' differente.

L'ho rindossato sabato in occasione del mio baby shower (avete visto le foto di ieri?) 

Questi sono gli scatti fatti prima della festicciola per andare a comprare le ultime cosine al supermercato.

Shades of grey & black

Hello my dear readers!

Spring seems to be still very far and I am getting really tired about this weather.. If I was not about to give birth to Pulcino, I certainly would have asked to Robert for a trip somewhere where it is sunny as a present for my birthday... 

Below the pictures taken last Saturday strolling around the area where we live.. Grey and black.. what a new combination, eh!!!! :P

Anyway I hope you will like how I styled these new leggings...

La primavera sembra davvero essere ancora lontana ed io comincio ad esseer veramente stanca di questo tempo.. Se non stavo per partorire Pulcino, di sicuro come regalo di compleanno avrei chiesto a Robert di portarmi da qualche parte al caldo, al sole!!

How are you? Come on, more than half week has gone: SMILE to Me ^_^ !!

I have a new outfit to share with you. It's the one I wore last Saturday to go downtown with Robert.

I mixed and matched together some different styles: the fake fur a bit Yeti :) , the leopard leggings you have already seen HERE, and my biker boots. 

Main colours: grey, burgundy and black. 

I have to say that I quite like the result, and you?

Ho un nuovo outfit da condividere con voi! Questo risale a sabato quando sono andata in centro con Robert per un giro tra negozi.

Ho abbinato capi totalmente diversi da loro per stile: la mia ecopelliccia con look un po' Yeti :) , leggings leopardati che avete gia' visto QUI e i miei stivali biker.

Colori mixati: grigio, borgogna e nero. A me sinceramente non dispiace affatto il risultato finale, a voi?

A new weekend is almost here and I am really looking forward to seeing after one year Ilaria, a friend of mine (and also ex colleague), coming with her boyfriend to spend these days together ^_^

She is also a really good photographer so I will take the advantage for sure to shot my looks =D

Today I show you another easy and casual outfit which I hope you will like as much as I do. I am wearing the super high wedges from Jeffrey Campbell, but I think the whole look would be nice also if worn with some sneakers or Ugg boots ;)

Un nuovo weekend alle porte e non vedo l'ora di rivedere a distanza di un anno, Ilaria, una mia amica ed ex collega in visita qui appunto in questi giorni insieme al suo ragazzo!

Tra l'altro e' anche una bravissima fotografa quindi ne approfittero' senz'altro per scattare i miei look =D

Oggi vi mostro un altro outfit molto facile e casual che spero vi piaccia quanto piace a me. Indosso le zeppe altissime di Jeffrey Campbell, ma ci potrei abbinare benissimo anche delle sneakers o stivali UGG ;)

Flower leggings for a rainy day

Since we are back the weather hasn't been really good... Rain, rain and rain... this is London, we know that :P

These are some pictures taken last Sunday for a walk around Knightsbridge: a very simple and comfortable outfit composed by my parka, the chunky knit from MMM for H&M, flower leggings and biker boots.

Da quando siamo tornati, il tempo ha fatto assai schifo... pioggia, pioggia e pioggia.. Questa e' Londra, si sa :P

Le foto che vedrete qui sotto risalgono a domenica scorsa quando abbiamo fatto un giro per Knightsbridge: un outfit semplice e comodo composto dal mio parka, maglioncione di MMM for H&M, leggings a fiori e biker boots..

One of the combinations that I mostly prefer in autumn is wearing long warm cardigans with dresses. On Monday I showed you already one but with tights.. this one is with bare legs..

I think is an easy look for everyone.

1st Autumn outfit

How did you spend your Sunday?

I officially made the "change of my wardrobe" from Summer to Winter clothes and this is my first Autumn outfit! Bare legs, yes... but I am afraid that this has been the last  time... the air is starting to be chilly and I am always cold so during the Winter it's impossible for me to not wear tights even if I don't like them very much..

And you? Do you usually wear tights in winter with dresses or skirts?

Io ho ufficialmente fatto il fatidico "cambio dell'armadio" mettendo via le cosine estive e tirando fuori la roba invernale.. ed ecco quindi il mio primo outfit autunnale! Gambe nude si'.. ma temo che sia stata l'ultima volta.. l'aria si sta facendo frizzantina ed io sono piuttosto freddolosa quindi di inverno non riesco a non indossare calze anche se non mi fanno impazzire..

E voi? Indossate calze con abitini e gonne in inverno?

Maybe some of you will dislike the shoes, but I think they match pretty well with the rest... A checked shirt enriched with golden studs, high waist jeans and a vintage satchel bag.. Everything reminds me of the old Far West and its Cowboys.. Could I be a Cowgirl?

Camicione a quadri arricchito da borchiette dorate, jeans a vita alta ed una cartella vintage.. Mi fa venire in mente il vecchio Far West e i suoi Cowboys.. Potrei essere io una Cowgirl?
