Back to internet, back to my little blog

After spending the Christmas festivities between Regensburg and Florence I finally came back to my new home town. Still to be discovered, I started from the area where we live and nothing is missing :)
I have a supermarket just in front of our building, a little post office, a thai food restaurant (gnammy), a butcher, a fishmonger, a cozy pub and of course shops :))
I am still waiting for my broadband internet at home, but I got a temporary mobile internet dongle. The connection is quite slow at the moment, so forgive me if I don't post often.
Before show you pics from this fantastic city, I want post some photos of Florence.
Even if I am really happy about this new adventure in this exciting metropolis, Florence is Florence, no doubts :D

I don't want to forget to wish you all a fantastic 2012. I have a lot of expectations from this new year... fingers crossed!

Christkindlmarkt aus Regensburg

Since about 4 years, Christmas is not Christmas if we don´t spend at least one evening at the Regensburg Christkindlmarkt :)
I really love the atmosphere there, the colours, the smell of the delicious food and of course all the decorations..

Feeling already at home :)

Here I am! Finally I moved to magic London :) and I am officially a Londoner ;)
Last week we received our furniture and stuff: 189 cartons!! It was a complete mess and I was almost about to cry because I did not know where to start..
Then slowly slowly, I unpacked everything, organized the spaces and after 3 days of work and cleaning everything was ok.
I am very proud to show you the pictures of our flat! I am already feeling a bit "at home" especially with all my Christmas decorations :D

Homeless

...I have to say that I am feeling a bit homeless in these days :( 
I almost left my apartment in Lugano (tomorrow I will give back the keys), but I still did not move in the one in London... so I spent the last days as a guest a bit everywhere.. first at "la bellina's" place, then in Florence for the weekend with my mum and the whole family, and now in Caslano @ Richard's home. 
On Wednesday morning I will take my flight to the Kingdom and finally become a "Londoner" :DD
As my computer equipment is currently travelling with the rest of the furniture, I can not upload any pictures, but I promise to share some new ones as soon as I am in town, in my new home <3

Almost ready, almost done...

Sorry for the long silence of these last 2 weeks, but finally the dates of our move arrived.. and my stress with them :S!!

The apartment in Lugano is a complete mess right now... there are cartons almost everywhere... even in the bathroom :O !
I started to pack only part of our stuff, mostly clothes and shoes.. Yes.. Shoes... do you remember "my winter collection"? Good.. It's then obvious that I have also a summer collection... so try to guess how many boxes they became :D
And the clothes... even If I gave a lot of things to my sister-in-law and threw out a lot, I still have tons of t-shirts, sweathers, bottoms and jackets...socks!!!!
It has been crazy... I could not believe to have so many.
I really don't know where I will put everything in the new flat where we have one room less and 3 wardrobes less.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....

Yes, it was a scream.. X_X

Anyway, no panic... Thanks god I have my husband who keeps the nerves for both :D

"La Troisième Nail polish Gallery"

It's quite boring to stay alone at home all day long, so while waiting for my husband's return, I thought to share with you my nail polish gallery :)

Most of them are from Chanel. I really love its colours but I have to say that for how much they cost, they don't last a lot :S
I have also 3 amazing colours from Dior. I find its paint brush great: it's the easiest to apply on your nails.
The Label blue colour is the last I bought.

Opi has always fantastic colours. Its collection is really huge! I took the ones I have during my last trip to Los Angeles. They are really cheap in the U.S.
My favourite among them is the n° 273.

Do you know how to keep them fresh and liquid for a long time? Easy: put them in your fridge! Really, I am not joking ;)

English tea or hot chocolate?

Everybody knows that one of the most famous english traditions is having a cup of tea around 4.30-5.00 in the afternoon... but do you really want to compare it with a piping hot swiss chocolate?? Nooo way: I vote 100% for the hot chocolate :P
