Good morning girls!

Today I want to tell you about Frye. For those of you who don't know the brand, and I hope it's the minority of you, Frye is one of the leading companies in the boots industry and celebrates this year its 150º anniversary.

Indeed, was founded by John A. Frye who opened a small shop on Elm Street in Marlboro, Massachusetts in 1863 to offer a high quality handmade product which could last in time. Frye keeps growing its business over the years but never forgets its roots: the production of functional, lasting footwear. Today its timeless boots still stand for uncompromising quality, wether you walk on a dusty road in the countryside or wear them as a lifestyle statement in the city.

On Tuesday I had the pleasure to participate in their press day in Milan to see some styles of their upcoming SS14 collection. I hope you'll like them as much as I did ^_^

Buongiorno ragazze

oggi vi racconto con grande entusiasmo di Frye, un'azienda di calzature storica e ormai famosa in tutto il mondo che sta festeggiando proprio quest'anno il suo 150º anniversario.

Per chi di voi non la conoscesse (e spero siate in poche) Frye e' uno dei marchi leader nella produzione di stivali.

E' nel lontano 1863 infatti che John A. Frye apre un piccolo negozio su Elm Street a Marlboro nel Massachusetts per offrire agli abitanti di questa cittadina un prodotto artigianale di qualita' e quindi durevole nel tempo.

A poco a poco Frey si espande e nonostante il suo successo, il suo spirito e il suo obbiettivo nel produrre una calzatura funzionale, sempre nuova e durevole, non cambia.

Oggi i suoi stivali senza tempo sono portati sia su strade di campagna che di città e sono sinonimo di una qualità unica e inconfondibile.

Martedì ho avuto il piacere di partecipare al loro press day qui a Milano e di visionare alcuni dei modelli presenti nella loro prossima collezione SS'14

How are you?

First of all I would like to apologize if I am not replying to your comments lately but as I already mentioned, I am without internet at the moment at home and it's also quite difficult for me to post. I hope you can understand it and I wish to solve this issue very soon.

Secondly: I am thinking to organize a meet up with all of you, especially with my Italian readers. What do you think to meet each other here in Milan the last Saturday of September in the afternoon?

Let me have your feedback and availability in order to book a nice place.

This said, let's go back to the topic of this post: today I introduce you the latest "object of desire" for many fashion addicted.

I am talking about the Scarlet boots by Isabel Marant.

Usually I don't expose myself in judgements but this time, I have to say that I find them really ugly!

All It girls around the globe are already showing them with pride, but please.. don't tell me that they look nice.. When you wear them you look like a t-rex!!!

Prima di tutto ci tengo a scusarmi se non sto rispondendo come di consueto ai vostri commenti, ma come già scritto sono ancora senza internet a casa e trovo già difficoltà a postare. Spero che comprendiate questo momento di passaggio e mi auguro di risolvere la cosa quanto prima.

Secondo, volevo proporvi un incontro con tutte voi che mi leggete con affetto da sempre. Mi piacerebbe conoscervi qui a Milano e pensavo come data all'ultimo sabato di settembre.. Che ne dite?

Fatemi avere un po' di feedback e disponibilità.

Scrivetemi anche sulla mia mail così se siamo in diverse, prenoto qualcosina di carino. Indicativamente pensavo ad un orario pomeridiano, tipo dalle 16.00 in poi.

Detto questo, torniamo all'oggetto di questo post: oggi volevo infatti presentarvi gli ultimi stivaletti proposti da Isabel Marant e che molte It girls stanno già sfoggiando in giro per il globo e che sono subito diventati oggetto del desiderio di tutte le fashion addicted.

Io solitamente non mi espongo mai con commenti stilistisci, ma questa volta "un gliela fo".. Li trovo davvero orrendi!

Non vi sembra di vedere delle zampette di un t-rex sauro??? Riguardatevi qualche scena di Jurassic Park e poi mi dite :P

Indecision

Good morning ladies!

Ok, we are in the middle of the Summer, but as a fashionista :P I can not avoid to think about the upcoming season for some autumn shopping ^_^ 

As you already know I am obsessed by shoes. It doesn't matter which kind, ANY: heels, sneakers, flats, loafers and of course boots.

Here below you can find my favourite ones at the moment. Most of them are carry over from last seasons and in my wish list since a while.. 

Soon or later one of those will be part of my collection ;)

Ok, lo so, fuori ci sono 40ºC (almeno da voi) e siamo nel bel mezzo dell'estate, ma io da brava fashionista non posso evitare di pensare all'arrivo della nuova stagione e quindi a del buon shopping autunnale ^_^

Come sapete la mia ossessione maggiore sono le scarpe, non importa quali, TUTTE: tacchi, sneakers, ballerine, loafers e naturalmente stivali e stivaletti!!

Questi che vedete qui sotto sono i miei preferiti del momento. La maggior parte sono continuativi della scorsa stagione e nella mia wish list da ormai diverso tempo.. Primo o poi cadro' nella rete e cederò all'acquisto di uno di loro ;) sono pero' parecchio indecisa.. voi quale mi vedreste?
