Good morning my dears!
It has been a while now that I didn't give you some LLT - "La Troisieme London tips" - so today no outfits, but I virtually bring you to Kempton Park where yesterday I went with Sarah (by the way I really suggest to visit her food blog CiboForMe ^_^ ) to talk about the Sunbury Antiques Market.
It's the largest and longest running twice-monthly market in the country and it's been recognised as one of Europe's premier antiques markets. It attracts well over 700 stallholders with 350 stalls throughout indoor halls and over 350 stalls (all on hard standings) in the outside drive-in area. To arrive here you have to take a train at Waterloo station. Back and forth is 13.00 £ and the market is open from 6am to 2pm.
There is always a vast range of antique goods on offer including furniture, gold and silverware, jewellery, ceramics, kitchenallia, vintage and vintage fashion, garden ephemera, clocks, paintings, cameras books and much, much more.

E' un po' di tempo adesso che non vi do qualche nuovo "tip" su Londra, così oggi niente outfit, ma vi porto con me virtualmente al Sunbury Antiques Market, dove sono stata ieri in compagnia di Sarah (tra l'altro vi consiglio di dare un occhio al suo bloggettino di cucina CiboForMe ^_^ ).
Si tratta appunto di un mercato enorme, il piu' grande d'Europa a quanto pare, dove si espongono e vendono cose antiche e vecchie. Un vero paradiso per gli amanti del vintage o semplicemente per chi come me, ama curiosare e fantasticare riguardo a chi siano appartenute tutte queste cose e che storia abbiano dietro!
Questo mercato si svolge a Kempton Park due volte al mese soltanto. Per arrivarci da Londra occorre prendere il treno da Wateroo.
Andata e ritorno sono 13.00£. Il mercato e' aperto dalle 6 di mattina alle 14.00.
Gli stand sono oltre 700 con una parte anche indoor, quindi se facesse freddo o piovesse come ieri, non avrete fatto un viaggio a vuoto ;)
Tra questi banchi potete trovare "tesori" di ogni genere, da vecchie credenze e mobili vari, argenteria, ceramiche Made in England, orologi, libri, valigie, macchine da scrivere, giocattoli e di tutto un po'.
