Bread & Butter Berlin

Today I take you to Berlin, where Wednesday started Europe’s strongest and most important trade show in the Street- and Urbanwear sector, BREAD & BUTTER.

I would have loved to go to Berlin, also to meet many of my ex colleagues and friends but unfortunately I couldn't go this time.. too busy at work. Anyway, my husband Robert had to go for business there and sent me some pictures to share with you.

The fair takes place twice  year, in July and January, when the new Spring Summer respective Fall Winter collections are launched. Obviously this show is not for the public and final customer, but for fashion companies, buyers, retailers and PR agencies... I hope I'll be able to attend the next edition in January.

Oggi vi porto a Berlino dove da mercoledì si sta svolgendo una delle fiere piu' importanti di abbigliamento Street-Urbanwear, il BREAD & BUTTER.

Mi sarebbe piaciuto tanto essere li' questi giorni, anche per rivedere un sacco di ex colleghi ed amici, ma purtroppo non ce l'ho fatta con il lavoro. Mio marito Robert invece e' li' proprio per business e mi ha inviato alcune foto da poter condividere con voi. Spero vi piacciano!

La fiera si svolge due volte l'anno, Luglio e Gennaio in concomitanza con l'uscita delle collezioni ed e' rivolta ovviamente agli addetti ai lavori, quali aziende, buyers, retailer e agenzie PR. Red Balenciaga

Thursday.. weekend is close again :) and I look forward to Saturday when my nephew Marco will arrive in London to spend here 3 weeks. He is almost 16 so you can imagine how exciting it can be for him to live this first experience far from home without any control from his parents...and in LONDON!! I hope to be a good aunty even if I have to say that I am also a bit worried: it's a big responsibility, isn't it? 

One of his main passion is the photography and he is really good with his camera: I think he has special eyes and he is capable to catch little things hidden for most of us. Of course I will stress him to take pictures of me but also to give me some good lessons ;)

Let's talk quickly about today's outfit: I am wearing a coated black denim from J Brand, a V neck white t-shirt that I think it has to be a MUST HAVE in any wardrobe and a casual grey melange blazer. Master piece is my red Balenciaga that you have already seen HERE

Giovedi'... il weekend e' di nuovo vicino ed io non vedo l'ora che sia sabato quando arriverà mio nipote Marco per trascorrere qui 3 settimane. Immaginate quanto possa essere eccitante per lui questa esperienza, lontano da casa e dal controllo dei genitori per la prima volta.. e poi ragazzi a LONDRA!! Spero di essere all'altezza della situazione e di essere una brava zia, ma non vi nego che sono anche un po' preoccupata: e' una bella responsabilità, no?

Una delle sue maggiori passioni e' la fotografia. Trovo che sia davvero bravo con la macchina ed e' capace di catturare scorci e dettagli nascosti alla maggioranza di noi. Di sicuro lo stressero' per farmi delle foto ma anche per insegnarmi qualche cosina ;)

Today's outfit

'Morning..

Quick post today.. I am sorry but I am not in a good mood in these last days... Since I came back from Florence last week, I am feeling really nostalgic and this grey autumnal sky doesn't help me at all... London is an amazing city, full of energy & inspiration and you can find and have anything you need here.  But when you can not share these things with the people you love, such as my family or my friends... everything tastes differently and for some strange reasons you feel alone among 12 millions inhabitants.. 

Anyway.. I hope you will enjoy today's outfit, composed by a long vintage shirt/dress, skinny jeans, my Maison Martin Margela booties (from last Spring Summer) and an emerald leather green bag from Marciano that you have already seen in this old post .

Post veloce oggi.. scusatemi ma da qualche giorno non sono nel mood giusto.. 
Da quando sono rientrata da Firenze settimana scorsa, sono un po' nostalgica e malinconica e di sicuro questo cielo grigio autunnale non aiuta affatto.. Londra e' una citta' incredibile, nulla da dire, con un'energia unica e pazzesca e dove puoi trovare e avere tutto ciò che ti passa per la testa. Ma quando pero' tutto ciò non puoi condividerlo con le persone che ami, come la mia famiglia o i miei amici, tutto prende un altro gusto e per assurdo ti senti sola tra 12 milioni di abitanti...
Beh.. spero che in ogni caso il mio outfit di oggi vi piaccia. E' composto da una camicia/abito vintage, skinny jeans e i miei stivaletti della scorsa primavera estate di Maison Martin Margiela, e il bauletto verde smeraldo che vate già' visto in questo vecchio post .

Following last week's post Spirit of London where many of you left nice comments and the request to have more of these, I decided to make another "street style" post with the pictures I took on Sunday around Shoreditch, Brick Lane, Spitalfield and Carnaby Street. 

I definitely have to improve my speed to catch the detail but anyway I hope you will enjoy them :)

A seguito del post della settimana scorsa Spirit of London dove molti di voi mi hanno lasciato tanti commenti positivi e la richiesta di averne di altri, ho deciso di postare un altro "street style" post con le foto fatte domenica tra Shoreditch, Brick Lane, Spitalfield e Carnaby Street.

Sicuramente devo migliorare la mia velocità di cattura del dettaglio, ma spero comunque che questi scatti vi piacciano lo stesso :)

Here is the Sun!

Good morning all! Hope your week started well (yesterday's football match aside)!

Finally on Saturday we could enjoy some sun in London.. Anyway it was not as hot as you expect at the end of June: there was a strong cold wind and I have to say that I've been quite courageous to wear the dress and the denim vest you will see below. 

I know already that my Italian readers will be quite jealous to read that because at the moment they are having really high temperatures there- while I miss the heat. We are never happy :D

Sabato finalmente abbiamo avuto di nuovo un po' di solicino a Londra, ma non era così caldo come ti aspetteresti alla fine di Giugno.. anzi.. c'era un vento fortissimo e sono stata abbastanza coraggiosa ad indossare l'abitino e il gilet in denim che vedrete nelle foto qui sotto. 

So già che le mie lettrici italiane mi invidieranno visto che da loro ci sono temperature assurde... mentre a me il caldo continua a mancare.. Non siamo mai contenti insomma :D

Black & Teal

Those who follow me since long time, might have noticed that I usually wear casual and easy outfits, also because these are my daily looks. I don't dress up just for my blog as maybe some other fashion bloggers do. 

Pretty often my outfits have a rock or androgynous touch showing the strong side of my character, but this does not mean that I don't like wearing more feminine and sexy clothes especially when going out on a Saturday night. This said here below you can find the pictures of the dress I wore yesterday evening to go out for a dinner with Robert: a stretch teal dress enhancing my body, a quite elegant black blazer and high heels. 

Which Lisa La Troisieme do you like the most?

Sicuramente chi mi segue da piu' tempo, avrà notato che di solito vesto outfit molto casual anche perché sono quelli relativi al mio quotidiano: non mi vesto appositamente per fare il post sul mio blog come magari fanno altre fashion bloggers. 

Spesso i miei look hanno un tocco rock e androgino mostrando così il lato piu' forte del mio carattere, ma questo non vuole dire che non mi piaccia vestire anche in maniera piu' femminile indossando capi anche sexy, soprattutto se si tratta di un sabato sera fuori. Detto questo con le foto di oggi vi mostro quello che indossavo appunto ieri per andare a cena fuori con Robert: un abito stretch colore blu/verde che risaltava le mie forme, giacca nera piuttosto elegante e tacchi alti.
